Sam’s Club members gain Weight Watchers access
Sam’s Club Plus members get free Weight Watchers access and discounts on weight-loss programs, saving over 50% on monthly plans.

Sam’s Club is adding Weight Watchers to its membership perks, offering discounted access to the weight-loss program for its Plus members.
The partnership lets Sam’s Club Plus members sign up for a three-month Weight Watchers Core membership at no additional cost. After the trial, they can continue at a $10 monthly rate—less than half the standard price. The offer includes discounts on Weight Watchers’ Core+ and Med+ programs, which cover lifestyle changes, GLP-1 medications, and clinical weight management.
How the deal works
Weight Watchers values the three-month trial at $54, though Sam’s Club members won’t pay upfront. Once the trial ends, the $10 monthly rate remains available as long as the partnership continues. The retailer says the discounts could save members up to 50% off regular pricing.
Myron Frazier, Sam’s Club’s chief merchant, said the collaboration aligns with the company’s goal of helping members “save money and live better.” He called the program a way to make “trusted, science-backed weight health support more affordable and accessible.”
Scott Honken, Weight Watchers’ chief commercial officer, said the deal expands access to “wellness expertise, value and convenience” for members working toward nutrition, weight management, or overall well-being.

Why now
Sam’s Club isn’t the first retailer to tie weight-loss programs to memberships. Costco began offering the GLP-1 drug Ozempic through its clinics last year, and Amazon Pharmacy added similar medications in 2026. The moves reflect growing demand for weight-management solutions, particularly those involving prescription drugs.
Weight Watchers has been shifting its model to include medication support alongside its traditional diet and lifestyle programs. The Sam’s Club deal could help it reach a broader audience, especially price-conscious shoppers who already rely on the warehouse club for groceries and health products.
The arrangement might also help Sam’s Club retain members. Warehouse clubs have faced pressure to justify annual fees as inflation squeezes household budgets. Perks like discounted wellness programs could make memberships feel more valuable—even if most members never use them.
For now, the discounts are live. Sam’s Club hasn’t said how long the partnership will last, but Weight Watchers confirmed the $10 rate will stay in place as long as the agreement holds.
Neither company disclosed how many members they expect to sign up or whether the deal will expand to include other wellness programs. But if the trial succeeds, it wouldn’t be surprising to see similar offers from other retailers looking to lock in customer loyalty.
