Tractor Supply will appear in the Instacart Marketplace, offering fulfillment for U.S. shoppers in as little as one hour, the companies announced. The partnership makes more than 2,400 of Tractor Supply’s locations available to shoppers using the marketplace. Consumers can use the company’s app or website to shop from the retailer’s stores.
The retailer joins more than 2,200 national and local retail banners on the marketplace, according to Instacart.
Recently, the company also announced it is now the exclusive fulfillment partner for Aldi U.S. across the retailer’s website and app.

Bridging the rural delivery gap
Instacart said the retailer serves an important role in the U.S. It cited the retailer’s stores often being miles away from the nearest urban center. Furthermore, the company said it’s helping “bridge the last-mile gap” for rural consumers who shop at the retailer for everyday essentials.
The timing makes sense.
Last-mile delivery services have spent years saturating dense metro areas, and the next logical frontier is precisely these kinds of underserved regions — where a trip to the nearest farm supply store can eat up half a day. Instacart said the partnership reflects its commitment to expanding same-day delivery “beyond urban areas and into rural communities that Tractor Supply calls home.”
Blake Wallace, vice president of retail partnerships at Instacart, said the company is “excited to bring Tractor Supply’s trusted assortment” to its marketplace. “Tractor Supply is a beloved brand with a broad reach that serves customers in communities of all kinds, and with Instacart, those customers can get what they need delivered to their door in as fast as an hour,” Wallace said in the announcement.
