The E-commerce Berlin Expo has announced the finalists for its 11th Call for Speakers, a contest that gives digital commerce professionals a chance to share their expertise and influence the conversations on stage. The contest categories cover a wide range of topics, including growth strategies, customer experience, technology, operations, and leadership.

Following a public voting phase, the finalists have been selected, and their proposals will now be evaluated by industry advisors. The advisors will assess the originality, relevance, practical value, and potential contribution to the e-commerce community of each proposal. The finalists come from various companies, including Boosmart, Queue-it, and Axelwin GmbH, and their proposals address topics such as generative AI, customer loyalty, and optimization programs.

Call for Speakers Categories and Finalists

The contest has nine categories, each with five finalists. The finalists’ proposals will be evaluated based on their potential to provide practical insights and solutions to the challenges facing the e-commerce industry.

Around 40% of the conference agenda comes directly from speaker submissions, ensuring that the program reflects the questions, experiences, and priorities of industry professionals. The guiding principle of the contest is “less hype, more substance,” with a focus on practical insights, evidence-based approaches, and honest stories about what works and what doesn’t in digital commerce.

The current edition of the Call for Speakers attracted a record number of submissions, reflecting an industry eager to exchange knowledge, challenge assumptions, and share solutions to common problems. The submissions cover a wide range of topics, from improving profitability and building customer loyalty to making technology work in practice.

Evaluation and Selection Process

The advisors will assess the proposals’ ability to provide practical insights, evidence-based approaches, and honest stories about what works and what doesn’t in digital commerce.

The finalists in the CX, Loyalty & Retention category include ReifenDirekt.de, Sendcloud, and Minimal AI, with proposals addressing topics such as customer contacts, post-purchase experience, and AI support implementations.

Finalists and Their Proposals

For example, Boosmart’s proposal discusses how generative AI rebuilt a fashion launch, while Queue-it’s proposal explores the idea of selling to AI agents.

The E-commerce Berlin Expo 2027 will take place on February 17-18 at Messe Berlin, and the selected speakers will have the opportunity to share their expertise with a wide audience. The conference agenda will reflect the questions, experiences, and priorities of the people working in the industry every day, ensuring that the program provides practical insights and solutions to the challenges facing the e-commerce industry.
