Sprouts opens five new stores in four states
Sprouts new stores expand the chain’s footprint beyond 500 locations, with five openings in Tennessee, California, Arizona and Texas announced in October.

Sprouts Farmers Market announced the addition of five new stores across four states, pushing its footprint beyond the 500-store milestone.
The first two locations opened on Friday, Oct. 23: a Clarksville, Tennessee store at 1002 Winn Way and a Santa Ana, California outlet at 2311 S. Bristol St.
A week later, on Oct. 30, Sprouts launched three more stores: Scottsdale, Arizona (1490 N. Scottsdale Road), Tucson, Arizona (10015 E. Old Vail Road) and Waxahachie, Texas (150 Bessie Coleman Blvd.).
Each grand opening began with a 6:45 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by doors opening at 7 a.m. All five sites will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The stores follow Sprouts’ standard layout, centering on fresh produce sourced from nearby farms. Proteins feature No Antibiotics Ever chicken and 100 percent grass-fed beef, while a bulk department provides dry goods. Over 7,000 vitamins, supplements and wellness items are available, and the lunch menu offers $5 sushi Wednesdays, deli sandwiches starting at $4.99 and Wellness Bowls from $8.99. This expansion shows that Sprouts is focused on regions where consumer demand for affordable, health-focused groceries is growing rapidly, especially in Sun Belt markets that combine high population growth with strong interest in locally sourced foods.

Through its Food Rescue program, each location partners with area growers and a hunger-relief organization: Clarksville works with Southern Valley Fruit and Vegetable and donates to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee; Santa Ana sources from Family Tree Farms and Five Crowns Farming, supporting Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County; Scottsdale and Tucson collaborate with Blue Sky Organic Farms and Duncan Family Farms, donating to St. Mary’s Food Bank and the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona respectively; Waxahachie partners with Southern Valley Fruit and Vegetable and Shuman Farms, contributing to North Texas Food Bank.
Grand-opening promotions include free reusable totes for the first 200 shoppers each day, long-stem roses for the first 400 guests courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral, in-store sampling and a 20 percent discount on one purchase for customers who enroll in the free Sprouts Rewards program.
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Sprouts employs roughly 36,000 team members and operates more than 500 stores across 25 states.
The retailer plans to open over 40 new stores in 2026, targeting a record pace and aiming for about 10 percent annual store growth in the coming years.
